Up to £49,662 pro rata per annum
- Grade I £42,614 - £46,662 + £3,000 market supplement pro rata pa
28 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and flexible litigation lawyer with experience in criminal and civil litigation. You will need to a confident court advocate and with experience managing a wide range of cases with you experience preferably gained in a local authority environment.

Be a senior member of this talented team that operates using a large and diverse client base. More personally, share with the Director and members of One Legal Senior Leadership Team the duty to role model the values of openness, trust, and transparency.

As Senior Lawyer (Litigation). your duties will include:

Provide advice on contentious matters at all levels
Assist in dealing with disputes in Court and other tribunal proceedings
Work effectively with other team members within the Litigation Department
Responsibility for the provision and development of services and effective staff management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Civil litigation i.e., contractual disputes, commercial property, land issues, negligence etc.
Court and trial familiarity
Local government / public sector background
