How will we use your information? - Data Privacy and GDPR

In registering for jobs with Tewkesbury Borough Council you will provide us with information about yourself which will allow you to apply for roles. We will use this information to process any applications you make and to help us to monitor equalities data. If you register for job alerts we will also send you information when we have vacancies which may be of interest. We will keep your information for 8 months from your last registration or application and ask you if you wish us renew your registration with us. If you don't want to renew, we will remove all data which identifies you from our systems within 30 days. If you are successful in being appointed to a role with us, the information you provide here will form part of your personal employment file. We take our responsibility for your information very seriously and will keep it securely, sharing your data only with those who need to know it. If at any point you want to change or withdraw your consent, you can do this by changing your preferences in your account.
