About The Role

  • Grade I £49,498 - £53,675 per annum
  • 37 hours per week
  • 12 month's fixed-term contract

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development and Innovation Manager to join our award-winning Digital Services team on a one-year fixed term contract. You will lead, manage, and coordinate the delivery of digital change, provide line management for the development team, and drive culture change and best practice as part of the council’s approach to digital.

You will be responsible for providing technical direction and innovative solutions for service improvements and efficiencies, managing all aspects of the council’s digital and online services, and identifying and supporting the programme management team in the delivery of efficiencies and improvements in services across the council.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing technical teams, a strong understanding of IT, digital technologies and industry trends, and the ability to build constructive relationships with partner organisations.
