Tewkesbury Borough Council are seeking a Section 106 Monitoring Officer who is committed to delivering an efficient,
effective and customer focused service to help to support its planning and
environmental efforts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning
obligations, excellent data management skills, and strong knowledge of S106
legislation. You'll be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working with
multiple stakeholders.
This role is crucial in ensuring that financial
contributions from development projects align with local planning policies and national
regulations. Financial obligations through planning ensure site specific
mitigation of the impacts of new development for the benefit of residents,
businesses and the local community.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Knowledge of Section 106 agreements, their
purpose, and mechanisms within the UK planning system.
· Strong data management and analytical skills,
with experience in using databases, Excel, or specialized software for tracking
and reporting.
· Ability to interpret legal and technical
documents related to planning and environmental policy.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data
management.
· Evidence of working successfully in partnership
across different sectors, building and maintaining good working relationships.
· The ability to work effectively to meet
challenging deadlines and competing & changing priorities.
· A full UK driving licence
